The
South Africa We Want
School Libraries are the most neglected libraries as often limited budgets dictate that an English teacher with a free period must run the library rather than the expense of employing a qualified LIS professional.
Public Libraries are also the Cinderella of the profession as they are often under-funded and poorly staffed. Both these valuable repositories of information thus are unavailable to our digital natives as they do not have access to the resources and expertise that these libraries could provide.
